The most important goal of the Heartland Nursing Center is to offer the best medical and professional care for the patients for the least cost.

Since the formation of the Heartland Nursing Center, a voluntary board of directors oversees the operations of the administrator and staff.  This voluntary board of community individuals meets as necessary to review the financial and management operations of the facility.

The Heartland Nursing Center is a skilled care facility providing continuous skilled nursing observation, restorative nursing and other services under professional direction with frequent medical supervision.  Skilled care facilities are provided for patients who need care and treatment during the post acute phase of illness or during reoccurrence of symptoms in long-term illness.

The Heartland Nursing Center is licensed by the state Board of Public Health and is a Medicare/Medicaid approved facility.
